ARNOLD, Md. – The Anne Arundel Community College women's soccer team defeated visiting Montgomery College, 3-1, in NJCAA Region 20 action Tuesday evening at a rain-soaked Siegert Field. Emma Miga had a goal and an assist for the Riverhawks, who improve their record to 6-2-1.

Miga made it 2-0 in the 38th minute with a penalty kick goal, and assisted the Riverhawks' final goal in the 79th minute playing a corner in to Makenzie Boyd for a 3-1 lead. Boyd quickly spun around and fired for her team-leading fifth goal of the season.

Montgomery's lone goal came in the 50th minute off a corner kick from Emilia Webb. Cassiane Fernandes Da Silva one-touched the ball in at the far post.

Holly Wall made six saves in net to move to 4-2-1 on the season. Raptors' starter Natalie Nunez-Fleitas made three saves and allowed two goals in 57 minutes before giving way to Nadia Estrada, who stopped three shots and allowed one goal in 33 minutes between the pipes.
