ARNOLD, Md. – Anne Arundel Community College freshman Ryan Stacy (Curtis Bay, Md./Northeast) has been named to the All-Region 20 Division II Men's Basketball Honorable Mention team, it was announced recently.
Stacy led the Riverhawks and ranked fourth in Region 20 with 18.5 points per game while shooting 41.5% from the floor. He scored in double digits in all but two of 22 games this season, registering a career-high 38 points at Westmoreland on February 15. Stacy scored 20+ points in seven straight games in February, including 22 at No. 15 Howard Community College.
Stacy averaged 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, and led the team at the free throw line, shooting 74.1%. He led Region 20 and ranked 24th nationally with 126 free throws made on the season, registering 10+ free throws in a game on three occasions, including a 14-for-18 performance against CCBC Catonsville.
A first-year information assurance and cybersecurity major, Stacy started 20 of 22 games for the Riverhawks.
