
ARNOLD, Md. – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team cruised past visiting Baltimore City Community College, 3-0, Wednesday evening in Region 20 divisional action at Jenkins Gym. The Riverhawks limited the Panthers to 17 total points, winning by set scores of 25-7, 25-5, and 25-5.
AACC (5-8) hit .462 on the night and combined for 34 service aces, the most by the Riverhawks in a single match since the 2021 season. Mia Keen, Bella Hadden, and Nadia Suber each had career nights at the service line; Keen recorded 14 aces, Hadden had six, and Suber hit eight.
Keen paced the offense with seven kills on nine attempts, also adding nine assists. Lluvia Owens-Pabon recorded five kills on eight attempts with a pair of aces and four digs. Suber recorded four kills on eight attempts, adding two digs. Keira Watts recorded a career-high four digs across two sets.
The Riverhawks are back in action on Friday, October 11, in a 6 p.m. home match against Monroe University.
