ARNOLD, MD. – Sophomore middle blocker Jaymee Green has been named to the 2023 NJCAA Region 20 Division II Volleyball All-Region Team, it was announced Tuesday. Green led the Riverhawks and ranked seventh in Region 20 with a .309 hitting percentage.

Green averaged a team-high 2.61 kills per set in 20 matches for AACC this season. She recorded match hit percentages of over .500 on three occasions, including in the Riverhawks' five-set win over Howard in their home opener.

Defensively, Green was the top blocker on the team with 0.94 blocks per set, twice recording at least six blocks in a match.

Green improved on her freshman campaign in every statistical category as a sophomore. She finished her career averaging 2.41 kills and 3.1 points per set.

The Riverhawks had a memorable first season at the Division II level, advancing to the Region 20 tournament and recording double-digit wins for the first time since 2019.
