ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team fell, 3-0, to visiting Frederick Community College Wednesday night. The Division II Cougars defeated the Riverhawks by scores of 25-12, 25-9, and 25-15.

Karen Bautista Carmona led the AACC offense with six kills, while Sylvia Frye recorded a team-high nine digs to go with three kills.

AACC (11-8) wraps up the regular season Friday evening in a 6 pm game against Division I Montgomery.

In addition to spreading awareness about breast cancer at Friday's game, the Riverhawks will join with SAGE (Saving Adolescent Girls Everywhere) and AACC's Clothesline Project to bring awareness to domestic violence issues. Please visit the displays and information tables in the lobby to learn more.
