Coach Klingensmith been coaching girls softball since 2006, and is currently Head Coach for the Severna Park Green Hornets 16u Select Softball Team. His softball teams have progressed from the Club program into the current Select 16u program.

He has been a member of the coaching staff for the Severna Park Green Hornet programs since 1998, coaching boys club baseball and soccer, and girls' select soccer.
