BALTIMORE, MD. – The No. 6 CCBC Essex men's soccer team dealt visiting Anne Arundel Community College a 12-0 defeat Thursday evening at CCBC Essex Stadium. Jayeim Blake made a career-high 12 saves in net.
Olvin Martinez had the start in goal and made two saves while allowing three goals in the first 11 minutes. Blake came in to make a career-high 12 stops – including some highlight reel material – while allowing seven goals in 58 minutes. Carlos Ramirez Flores closed out the final 21 minutes with a pair of saves and two goals allowed.
AACC's best scoring chance came in the 65th minute off the foot of Chris Moreira.
The Riverhawks (1-6) host Carroll Community College Tuesday at 7 p.m.
