ARNOLD, MD – A balanced attack from the Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team propelled the Riverhawks to a 6-0 win over visiting Chesapeake Thursday evening. Jonah Colebrook recorded a pair of goals for AACC, which improves to 5-4-1.

Colebrook opened the scoring in the 17^th minute when he headed in a cross from Aminkeng Keng. Trevor Militello followed in the 20^th minute with an unassisted tally, sending his shot across the cage where it careened in off the post.

Elijah Piper closed out the first half giving AACC a 3-0 lead, scoring off a pass from Mason Kelly, who had beat a pair of defenders as he dashed up the sideline before crossing it to Piper for the one touch.

Cole Switzer made it 4-0 in the 51^st minute, dribbling pas the Skipjacks' defense before firing for his first goal of the season.

Luke Hanno turned on the jets in the 56^th minute when he outran the entire Chesapeake defense on the far side, turned in front of the net and hit a low shot.

Colebrook capped the scoring in the 77^th minute, corralling a deflection before tucking the ball in the corner for his first multiple goal game.

Chesapeake put pressure on the Riverhawks late in the game, getting three excellent chances in the final eight minute of the game. First, Sebastian Jaramillo earned a free kick just outside the box in the 87^th minute, but his shot sailed high. Ryan Stanton tested AACC goalkeeper Brandon Cochran in the 88^th minute, firing near post, but getting denied by a diving Cochran. Chesapeake kept the pressure on and Cochran again game up big in the final minute of the game with another save.

Ryan Smith played the first half in net for AACC before giving way to Edgar Garcia, who played in net for 28:43 before transitioning to the field. Cochran finished with two saves in the final 16:17.

AACC hosts Potomac State Saturday at 3 pm in a Region XX game.
