Game Notes
The Riverhawk men's soccer team went the maximum distance this past Sunday afternoon (10/14), after a 2OT scoreless tie against the NJCAA DI Region XX Fighting Owls of Harford Community College. Plenty of action on the field, but either team just unable to find the net.
Peter Roberts (Pasadena, MD/Archbishop Spalding) would finish with 4 shots on the rainy day, as Francisco Vidales Macias (Pasadena, MD/Northeast) and Noah Beall (Odenton, MD/Annapolis Area Christian School) would record 2. Enzo Larrosa (Odenton, MD/Arundel), Elias Guzman (Odenton, MD/Arundel), and Alexander Calogero (Davidsonville, MD/South River) would each tally a shot on the day, and Riverhawk goalkeeper Austin Noland (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie) would finish with 2 saves.
The less-than-ideal rainy conditions might have been a factor in the match for each team but the hustle and effort were still in full. The Riverhawks were also playing for their second day straight as they traveled back from Youngwood, PA on Saturday (10/13), from their impressive 12-0 victory over the Wolfpack of Westmoreland County Community College.
