PINEHURST, N.C. – Less than 24 hours after defeating the number one ranked team in the nation, the Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team fell to Central Carolina Community College, 107-47.
The Riverhawks (1-2) had a balanced scoring attack seeing virtually every player score at least one point.
Matthew Kostacopolous led the Riverhawks with nine points. Braeden Cavey added eight, going 2-for-2 from three-point range. Cavey also had five rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block.
Dayejon Harris scored six point to go with a team-high eight rebounds and a pair of assists.
AACC returns to action on Monday, November 15, in a 7 pm home game against the McDaniel College JV team.
