ARNOLD, Md. – Anne Arundel Community College freshman midfielder Ashlynn Deans has repeated as the NJCAA Region 20 Women's Lacrosse Athlete of the Month, it was announced recently.

Deans scored 12 goals and assisted another in four games in April for the Riverhawks. She had 12 groundballs and 12 draw controls, adding nine caused turnovers. Deans scored a career-high five goals against Harford on April 17, including the Riverhawks' final two goals of the game in a 13-11 win.

In March, Deans scored five goals on just 10 shots for the Riverhawks, who went 2-1 in the month. She had three goals in the season opener and two in a road win at Harford.

Deans finished the season tied for the Region 20 lead with 22 goals, and ranked fifth with 24 points in her rookie campaign.
