BEL AIR, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team fell to host Harford Community College, 3-0, Tuesday evening at APGFCU Arena. Karen Bautista Carmona led the way with six kills, six digs, and three aces.

Tara Gabrielsen added 13 digs and Leah Hernandez recorded 15 assists for the Riverhawks, who also got three kills and seven digs from Sylvia Frye.

AACC dropped the first set, 25-14, before keeping it close the entire way in a 25-21 second set loss. Division I Harford pulled away in the third set for a 25-18 win, the Owls' fifth three-set victory in a row.

The Riverhawks (9-6) travel to Penn Highlands Thursday for a 7 pm Region XX Divisional match.
