ARNOLD, MD. – Anne Arundel Community College goalie Kaitlyn Evans has been named the NJCAA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games ending March 19, 2023. Evans made six saves in the then No. 3 Riverhawks' upset win at then No. 2 Harford on March 15.

The sophomore made six saves and allowed just four goals against the defending national champion Owls. She stopped all three Harford free-position shots in the game and also recorded a caused turnover in the second quarter.

Evans is the nation's leader in goals against average (6.00) and save percentage (45.5%).

The win propelled AACC to the top of the NJCAA women's lacrosse poll the following week.
