ARNOLD, MD. – Anne Arundel Community College midfielder Julia Sokolowski has been named the NJCAA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games ending March 26, 2023. The freshman scored four goals and added four assists in a win at NCAA DIII Keystone on Saturday.

Sokolowski scored her goals on just four shots in the game, and also corralled six groundballs, seven draw controls, and a caused turnover. Her goals and one assist came in the first quarter as the Riverhawks jumped out to a 9-1 lead in the period.

Sokolowski added two assists in the third quarter and closed out the Riverhawks' scoring in the fourth with her fourth helper of the day.

The top-ranked Riverhawks travel to upstate New York this weekend for a pair of top-five matchups. AACC takes on No. 5 Monroe in Rochester on Friday before facing No. 2 Onondaga Saturday.
