ARNOLD, MD. -- Two members of the Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team have been named to the 2023 NJCAA All-Region 20 Teams, it was announced this week. Eli Belcher earned a spot on the Second Team, and Matthew Sutter was named honorable mention.

The Riverhawks' offense went through Belcher, a first year midfielder. He scored two goals and added two assists, getting heavily marked in all games. His footwork and understanding of the game helped set his teammates up for success.

Sutter, a sophomore defender, made his second appearance on an All-Region team, having earned First Team honors in Division III in 2022. He brought experience and patience to the Riverhawks' back line, playing consistent soccer throughout the season.

AACC finished its first season in Division II with a 3-6-4 record.
