Men's Soccer Moves to 5th in NJCAA Poll

ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team moved up to fifth in the NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer Rankings, it was announced September 19. The Riverhawks, who have opened the season with five-straight wins, stood in sixth place the last two weeks.

AACC started the year in the seventh spot on the NJCAA DIII rankings before moving up to sixth in the September 6th poll.

The Riverhawks have allowed just two goals on 11 shots on net through the first five games of the season with three shutout wins. Offensively, AACC has scored 25 goals, ranking the Riverhawks' offense sixth in the country.

AACC continues NJCAA Region 20 action Tuesday, September 20, in a 4 p.m. game at Division I Harford.
