ARNOLD, MD -- The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team has been tabbed seventh in the NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer preseason poll, it was announced Tuesday, August 16, 2022. The Riverhawks went 8-8 in the 2021 season, winning the Region 20 and South District championships en route to their second appearance in the NJCAA championships since 2005. AACC received votes in the week nine poll in 2021, headed into the postseason.

The Riverhawks return two All-Region student-athletes from last year's team in midfielder Sam Adams and defender Raphael Arias.

Head Coach Nick Cosentino begins his 17th season at the helm of the AACC program, and has added Drew Belcher to his staff to compliment long-time assistant and former Head Coach Ken Wolf's efforts. 

AACC opens the season at the College of Southern Maryland at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 25
