Men's Soccer Lands Trio on All-MDJUCO Team

ARNOLD, MD – Three Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer players have added All-MDJUCO honors to their postseason award portfolios, it was announced late Tuesday. Freshman goalkeeper Brenden LeMaster was named to the First Team, sophomore forward Will Belcher was named to the Second Team, and sophomore defender Jon Adams earned a spot on the Honorable Mention Team.

Belcher was a key transition playmaker for the Riverhawks. The honor marks the second for Belcher, who earned All-MDJUCO honorable mention accolades as a freshman last year, and was named to the All-Region XX First Team earlier this month.

Adams started all 17 games in which he played at defense, anchoring a back line that allowed fewer than 12 shots per game. The sophomore was often tasked with guarding the opponent's top playmaker. Adams recorded an assist in a 4-1 win over Potomac State on October 5th. He was also named to the All Region XX First Team this fall.

LeMaster started 14 games in goal for the Riverhawks, posting a 1.41 goals against average to go with a .802 save percentage. He recorded three solo shutouts on the year, including a 1-0 win over Northern Virginia in the Region XX Play In Round. LeMaster recorded a career-high 12 saves in a 1-0 loss at Frederick on October 8th. LeMaster earned All-Region XX First Team accolades earlier this fall.

AACC finished the season with a 9-7-1 record and an appearance in the Region XX Semifinals.
