Dave O'Donnell was named the head coach of the Anne Arundel Community College golf team in the fall of 2021.

He continued his golf career at Millersville University, earning a degree in government and political affairs, emphasizing international relations. He is completing his Master's in Public Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.
In 2022 he led the Riverhawks to runner-up finishes in the MDJUCO championship and Region 20 tournaments. In 2023, the Riverhawks won the MDJUCO championship and again was runner-up in the Region 20 tournament.
