ISSUE, MD -- The Anne Arundel Community College golf team kicked off conference play with three-stroke victory over Hagerstown Community College at Swan Point Yacht and Country Club.
Chase Kasulke paced the Riverhawks with a 13 over par round of 85, earning him 3rd place in the individual standings.
Dylan Weiss carded an 86 which was good enough for fourth place.
Austin Smith and Jacob Haloskey rounded out the scoring for AACC tied for 6th place overall with matching scores of 90.
Diante Dozier and Dave Henderson also competed for AACC, but did not factor in the scoring.
"The course played extremely hard today, but the team really responded when they needed to. Winning our first conference tournament of the season is a great way to start a busy couple weeks leading up to the Maryland JUCO championships. Hagerstown has a very strong team and will keep giving us a fight." Riverhawks Head Coach Dave O'Donnell said.
Jacob Haloskey improved 10 shots from the Cardinal Classic and Chase Kasulke was five strokes better from his first outing of the season.
The Riverhawks will look to continue their winning ways as they host College of Southern Maryland and Hagerstown Community College at South River Golf Club on Thursday, April 14th.
