ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College midfielder Elsa Skinner has been named the NJCAA Region 20 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Month for games in March, 2022, it was announced recently. Skinner recorded 16 goals and three assists as AACC went 3-1 in March.

Skinner took 22 shots, 20 of which were on goal, and 16 of which eluded goalkeepers. She totaled 19 draw controls, 10 groundballs, and four caused turnovers, while committing just four turnovers herself. She was successful in three of four free-position shots in the month.

She opened the month with four goals and an assist at NCAA Division II Alderson Broaddus, and added three goals, two assists, six draw controls, three caused turnovers, and three groundballs in the Riverhawks' lone loss of the month against NCAA Division II Post University.

At then-No. 2 Onondaga, Skinner scored six goals with six groundballs and five draw controls, and followed up the next day at then-No. 4 Monroe with three goals and seven draw controls.

The top-ranked Riverhawks are back in action on May 7th when they host Harford in the Mid-Atlantic District Championship game at 11 am.
