Women's Lacrosse Romps Through Upstate New York

ARNOLD, MD -- The third-ranked Anne Arundel Community College women's lacrosse team romped through Upstate New York over the weekend, defeating No. 2 Onondaga, 15-4 on Saturday before downing No. 4 Monroe, 17-6 on Sunday.

Eva McCormick paced the Riverhawks with 10 points on seven goals and three assists on the weekend. Elsa Skinner scored nine goals, while Madison Hobbs also totaled nine points on five goals and four assists. Savanna Reitz poured in eight goals between the games, and Lacey Hinkley dished four assists. Oriana Crowley added a goal and two helpers, while Natalie Davis and Madison Shaner each scored once.

AACC held a 27-7 advantage on the draw, with Skinner collecting 12 draw controls. Hobbs, the draw-taker, and Reitz each pulled down seven.

Kaitlyn Evans made nine saves in the two wins, pushing her season GAA to 6.75.

The Riverhawks, who bumped up to second in the NJCAA rankings on Tuesday, March 29, host Onondaga at Siegert Field on Saturday, April 2.
