Women's Lacrosse Tabbed Third in NJCAA Preseason Poll

ARNOLD, MD – Coming off of a national runner-up finish in 2019, the Anne Arundel Community College women's lacrosse team has been picked third in the 2020 NJCAA Preseason Poll, it was announced recently.

Region XX was once again well-represented in the poll as defending champion Harford unanimously took the top spot, the Riverhawks ranked third, followed by CCBC Essex in fifth. Region III's Onondaga ranked second followed by Monroe in fourth.

Anne Arundel returns four All-Americans from a year ago after their seventh appearance in the national title game.  MDJUCO Defensive Player of the Year Lacey Hinkle joins record-setting draw control specialist Natalie Sonntag, playmaker Jordan Snyder, and two-way player Bridgette Tayman to anchor another bid for the title.

AACC's opens the season at home in a 1 pm game against Potomac State on Saturday, March 7, after a pair of scrimmages against NCAA Division II Ashland University and NCAA Division III Albion College.
