Despite Strong First Half, Riverhawks Fall 19-7 to #1 Ranked Monroe Community College

ARNOLD, MD – The second half action of Anne Arundel Community College's Riverhawk Women's Lacrosse match-up vs. Monroe Community College was packed with Tribune scoring.  MCC outscored AACC 12-2 during the final thirty minutes of play on Saturday March 26th.

It began as a close contest against the number one ranked Region 3 team out of New York with the score at 7-5 in favor of MCC at the end of the first half.  The Tribunes quickly pulled away and at the end of the day had nine different players to contribute to the 19 total goals.

Renee Ruppert and Emily Rowe each posted a hat-trick for the Riverhawks, and Ashley Bailey recorded eleven saves.
The Riverhawks next match-up is a home game vs. the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College.  Game start is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on the turf at Siegert Stadium.
