Women’s Lacrosse Improves to 3-0 with Victory Over Frederick Community College

ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College women's lacrosse team defeated the Cougars of Frederick Community College 15-8 Wednesday afternoon in a MD JUCO Region 20 match-up.  The Riverhawks improved to 3-0 with the win, while the Cougars fell to 2-4.

Sophmore Renee Ruppert led for AACC with six goals and one assist.  Emily Rowe tallied five goals, while Elaine Draper and Alyssa Yates each contributed two goals.

Goalie Ashley Bailey recorded seven saves on the day, and Emily Rowe collected eight draw controls.

Sydny Dudley of Frederick Community College led for the Cougars with three goals on the day, with Amanda Singer adding two goals and Alison Biehl adding one goal.  Morgan Landerman contributed two goals for the Cougars before exiting the game early after obtaining two yellow cards.

The Riverhawks will travel to NY to face number one ranked Monroe Community College on Saturday March 19th at 11:00 a.m.
