Race Notes
The Riverhawk women's cross country team traveled to Salisbury on Saturday (9/30) to compete in the 2017 Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University at Winter Place Park.
AACC had six runners for the race – with Madeline Szanyi (Mayo, MD/South River) finishing first for the Riverhawks with a 6k time of 27:52. Madeline Fitzgerald (Shady Side, MD/Southern) would be the next Riverhawk finisher followed by MacKenzie Schwartz (Pasadena, MD/Northeast), then Caitlyn Shriver (Pasadena,MD/Northeast) and Heather Verdin (Severn, MD) and Amaya Odgers (Chesapeake, VA/Annapolis).
Improving on their times from the preivous meet, the Riverhawks would finish 11th overall in the field of the talented NCAA DII & DIII institutions.

The Riverhawks will travel to Gettysburg, PA to compete in their next race hosted by Gettysburg College. Race time is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Saturday Octoberber 14th.
