Race Notes
The Riverhawk women's cross country team traveled to New Jersey on Saturday (9/16) to compete in the 2017 Bill Fritz Invitational hosted by Rowan University.
AACC had five runners for the race – with Madeline Szanyi (Mayo, MD/South River) finishing first for the Riverhawks with a 6k time of 32:21. Madeline Fitzgerald (Shady Side, MD/Southern) would be the next Riverhawk finisher followed by MacKenzie Schwartz (Pasadena, MD/Northeast), then Caitlyn Shriver (Pasadena,MD/Northeast) and Heather Verdin (Severn, MD).
On the extremely hot race day, the Riverhawks would finish 11th overall out of the talented 13 teams that competed – the majority of those teams being NCAA DIII institutions.

The Riverhawks will travel to Salisbury, MD for their next race to compete in the Don Cathcart Inviational hosted by Salisbury University. Race time is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. on Saturday September 30th.
