Volleyball Splits Tri Match at Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, MD. – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team split at a tri-match with host Hagerstown and Garrett College Saturday afternoon in NJCAA Region 20 action. The Riverhawks fell to the host Hawks, 3-0, before topping the Lakers, 3-0.

Against the Hawks, AACC fell by scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-10. Jaymee Green had six kills and three blocks. Meena Woodson posted a perfect hitting percentage with three kills. Mia Keen added seven assists to go with one service ace.

Against the Lakers, AACC won by scores of 25-12, 25-11, and 25-22. Green again led the Riverhawks with 11 kills while Keen had 21 assists. Lluvia Owens-Pabon recorded five service aces to go with eight kills and three assists. 

AACC returns to Jenkins Gym Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match against Montgomery. The Riverhawks then host Allegany Friday at 7 p.m.
