ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team split a home tri-match with Garrett College and Howard Community College Saturday. The Riverhawks defeated Garrett, 3-0, in the day's first match, and fell to the Dragons, 3-0, in the day's finale.

Sabrina Sheppard led the Riverhawks' offense with 35 kills, hitting .353 on the day. She also had a pair of aces and 10 digs. Anelae Reluya recorded eight aces on the day, adding a team-high 13 digs. Setter Megan Helinski assisted 45 of the Riverhawks' 62 kills on the day, and added a pair of block assists. Jaymee Green impressed in her debut with 10 kills, a solo block and a block assist.

Anne Arundel continues Region 20 action on Wednesday, October 5, in a 7 p.m. match at Division I Harford Community College.
