ARNOLD, MD – The second seeded Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team rallied fell to top seed and defending champion Butler County Community College, 3-0, in the NJCAA Region 20 Division III championship Saturday afternoon at Jenkins Gym. Butler swept the Riverhawks 25-10, 25-21, and 25-19.

AACC was paced by five kills from Karen Bautista, who also recorded a team-high 16 digs, two aced, and a block. Megan Helinski assisted 13 of the Riverhawks' 17 kills on the day, also posting seven digs.

It was AACC's first trip back to the championship game since 2018, when the Riverhawks fell to Butler, 3-1, also at Jenkins Gym.
