ARNOLD, MD - The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team defeated Penn Highlands in a key NJCAA Region 20 match on Friday night, 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 26-24).
Karen Bautista recorded 17 kills in the match, pacing the Riverhawks offense. Megan Helinski and Elizabeth Jarboe each recorded four aces.
Anelae Reluya recorded a team-high six digs while Angela Lucero added five of her own. Jarboe also had a strong night on defense, leading the team with 5 solo blocks.
AACC returns to action Tuesday, October 12, on the road in a 7 pm Region 20 match at DII Frederick.
