HAGERSTOWN, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team opened the season at Division I Hagerstown Wednesday, falling to the Hawks, 3-0. After a slow start, AACC kept it close for the final two sets (25-9, 25-20, 25-22).

Emma Quandt led AACC with five kills and a block. Elizabeth Jarboe recorded three solo blocks to go with a pair of block assists.

Katy Raynor recorded eight assists, while Megan Helinski and Elizabeth Jarboe each added six.

AACC opens its home slate on Thursday, September 9, in a 6 pm Region XX match against Division II Howard.
