Southern Maryland Gets Past Volleyball

ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College played hard and kept it close, ultimately falling to visiting College of Southern Maryland, 3-0, Friday night. Taliyah Johnson led AACC's offense for the second-straight match, logging eight kills in a .500 hitting performance.

The Hawks won the sets by scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-23.

Grace Lindemann assisted 14 of AACC's 20 kills on the night. Sylvia Frye recorded five aces, while Karen Bautista Carmona posted four to go with four kills.

AACC (11-9) returns to action Thursday, October 24, in their regular season finale in a 6 pm match at Montgomery.
