NORTH EAST, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team split a tri-match Saturday at Cecil College, defeating Chesapeake, 3-1, and falling to Cecil, 3-0.

Alle Forbes posted four kills, two digs and a pair of blocks against Cecil, as the Riverhawks fell by scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-9. Sylvia Frye had a team-high 11 digs to go with two aces, a kill and an assist.

Against Chesapeake, Karen Bautista Carmona recorded 13 kills to go with five aces, six digs and a pair of blocks. Forbes added eight kills, five blocks (four solo), an ace and a dig.

The Riverhawks have a busy week ahead as they host CCBC Essex Tuesday at 6 pm, Northern Virginia Thursday at 7 pm, and travel to Westmoreland for a tri-match with the Wolfpack and Butler County Community College Saturday.
