COLUMBIA, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at Division II Howard Community College Tuesday afternoon. The Riverhawks drop to 4-4 on the season.

Howard got on the board in the 16th minute off a corner set, and scored twice in the second half for the 3-0 final.

The Riverhawks had plenty of chances in the game, including a penalty kick in the 55th minute that went just wide.

Both teams had 11 shots on goal in the game. AACC's defense led the Dragons to be whistled offside seven times in the contest, and the Riverhawks successfully defended seven of eight Howard corner kicks, including five in the opening frame.

Riverhawks keeper Kailyn Kenney made eight saves evenly split between the halves.

AACC returns to action on Tuesday, October 4, in a 5 p.m. home game against Division II Frederick Community College.
