DI Harford Tops No. 9 Women's Soccer

BEL AIR, MD – The No. 9 Anne Arundel Community College women's soccer team fell to Division I Harford Community College, 3-0, Tuesday evening in Region 20 action. Kaitlyn Kenney made a career-high 11 saves in the game, including six in the first half to keep the host Owls off the board headed into halftime.

Harford scored off a corner set in the 50th minute, and added goals in the 71st and 87th minutes.

AACC had its best opportunity in the 60th minute when Gabriella Simpson had a breakaway, but was thwarted by the Owls' keeper. Cassidy Smith had two shots on goal for the Riverhawks, who were limited to four shots in the game.

Harford led in corner kicks at an 8-1 clip, and was whistled for four fouls to AACC's eight in the game.

AACC returns to action at home hosting Division I Montgomery College Thursday, September 22, at 5 p.m.
