ARNOLD, Md. – Anne Arundel Community College freshman Ayannah Gorham has been named the NJCAA Region 20 Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Month for games in November, 2023. Gorham averaged a double-double in November with 20.2 points and 12.2 rebounds per game.

Gorham started her AACC career with a 15-rebound, nine point effort at Penn State York on November 1 before scoring in double digits in each of the remaining four games in November. She scored 14 points against Patrick & Henry, then posted three-straight double-doubles.

Against Middlesex College on November 11, she scored 18 points to go with 12 rebounds. Gorham exploded for 33 points and 13 rebounds at Potomac State on November 18, and closed out the month with 27 points and 13 rebounds against Howard Community College on November 29.

Gorham currently ranks third in Region 20 Division II with 19.3 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.

AACC (0-6) closes out the first half of the season with a pair of home games, first welcoming Butler County for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, December 9, and then hosting Chesapeake College at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13.
