BEL AIR, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College women's basketball team fell to Harford, 73-45, Wednesday evening at FPGCU Arena. Freshman Syrena Boone recorded her third double-double with 10 rebounds and a career high 19 points.
Naomi Ray added a career-high 17 rebounds (11 defensive) and the Riverhawks shot a combined 76.9% from the free throw line in the game.
AACC trailed, 18-13, at the end of the first quarter and 32-21 at halftime. A strong third quarter brought the Riverhawks within 13, but Harford outscored AACC, 23-8, in the final frame to secure the win.
AACC is back in action on Saturday, December 11th in a 2 pm non-conference game at Butler County Community College. AACC was also scheduled to play at Community College of Beaver County on December 12th, however the Titans were forced to forfeit the game.
