Riverhawks top Del Tech 71-48

The Riverhawks captured their second win of the season topping Delaware Technical 71-48. The energized AACC squad carried a nice lead into the half and really put it on Del Tech in the third quarter as they outscored the Spirit 22-8. Despite an even fourth quarter the comfortable lead carried the Riverhawks to victory. 

Three players tallied more than 10 points in the contest with three others not far under the mark. Bri'ana Oliver led AACC with 16 points, adding six rebounds and three assists. Heather Young also grabbed six rebounds and contributed 13 points. Dania Taylor facilitated five buckets, dropped 12 points and grabbed four steals. Allison Stahl and Jasmine Wallace eached bucketed nine points with Wallace grabbing 11 rebounds and tallying seven steals. Ajoh Kuch had 13 rebounds and added seven points. 

Two home games will see the Riverhawks to the holiday break. They host Chesapeake College on Thursday at 5pm and CCAC Allegheny on Saturday at 1pm.
