Bosley Scores Twice as No. 7 Men's Soccer Downs Trojans, 4-1

ARNOLD, MD – The seventh-ranked Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team got a pair of goals from freshman Davis Bosley as the Riverhawks defeated visiting Allegany, 4-1, in a weather-shortened game at Siegert Field. The game was called due to lightning in the 74th minute.

Juan DeNardo and Malik Williamson also scored for AACC, which limited the Trojans to just two shots on goal in the game.

Bosley bookended the game with goals, netting the first of the game in the 20th minute with a long-range unassisted strike. DeNardo closed out the first half by sending in a rebound from a shot by Stiven Llano Salas that clanged off the post. The Riverhawks were inches away from scoring several times, hitting the post four times and clanging the crossbar another.

Less than a minute into the second half, Williamson converted a pass from Matthew Sutter to make it 3-0 in favor of the Riverhawks.

A loose ball in front of the net led to Allegany scoring in just two minutes later, but AACC retook control of the game and limited the Trojans to just one more on-goal attempt in the 61st minute.

The Riverhawks responded right away as Bosley capped the scoring off an assist from Mo Sary in the 62nd minute

AACC outshot Allegany, 27-3 in in the game.

The Riverhawks are idle until Tuesday, September 6, when they travel to Chesapeake for a 4 p.m. game.
