Men's Soccer Locks Up Tourney Top Seed With 2-0 Win at Prince George's

LARGO, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team secured the top seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region 20 Division III Championships with a 2-0 win at Prince George's CC Monday evening. The Riverhawks scored a goal in each half while goalkeeper Zane Saab made four saves to preserve the shutout.

AACC outshot the Owls, 9-2, in the first half. Mason Switzer scored what would stand as the game-winner in the 23rd minute. Mo Sary headed in a beautiful cross from Jack Castle in the 62nd minute to move the Riverhawks ahead by two.

The Riverhawks travel to Carroll Community College Tuesday, October 19, for a 4 pm Region 20 game before welcoming Washington College to Siegert Field for a 6 pm friendly game on Tuesday, October 26th.
