Men's Soccer Early Lead Can't Hold at Montgomery

ROCKVILLE, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team couldn't hold on to an early lead in a 2-1 loss at Division II Montgomery College Tuesday evening. Sam Adams scored for the Riverhawks in the second minute of the game.

Adams converted a pass from Jake Vasquez just 1:24 into the game for AACC's early lead.

Andres Javitt knotted the game for the Raptors in the 17th minute and the teams battled until Montgomery scored the game-winner in the 78th munute.

AACC keeper Zane Saab made a career-high nine saves in the game.

The loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Riverhawks, who are four games into a six-game road trip. The Riverhawks travel to Division II Howard Community College Thursday for a 6 pm game.
