Golf Takes Tops Team Spot In Third Straight Event

CHAMBERSBURG, PA. – The Anne Arundel Community College golf team took first place in its third consecutive event, defeating host Wilson College and Clarks Summit University in a tri-match at the Chambersburg Country Club Monday afternoon. Sophomore Chase Kasulke medaled for the first time in his collegiate career, finishing one stroke ahead of teammate Parker Black.

The Riverhawks combined for a 354, finishing 46 strokes ahead of Clarks Summit and 57 strokes ahead of host Wilson, both of which are NCAA Division III schools.

Kasulke finished with an 85, followed by Black with an 86. Connor Hackett shot a 91, for third place overall and Austin Smith rounded out the AACC scorers in fifth place overall with a 92. Carter King also participated for the Riverhawks.

Third place overall went to Dylan Skeele of Wilson, who shot an 89.

AACC gets back to NJCAA Region 20 action on Thursday in a 12 p.m. match at Hagerstown.
