EDGEWATER, MD – Freshman Peter Regala represented the Anne Arundel Community College golf team at the 2021 Maryland JUCO Championship Thursday at the Riverhawks' home course of the Golf Club at South River.

Noah Reeder of Hagerstown won the event at two under and also claimed the conference's season title with 31 points.

Regala finished Thursday's match with a 93. He cut nine strokes off his front nine score on the back nine where he shot par on five holes, including three in a row starting at hole 13.

For the MDJUCO season, Regala placed seventh with 10.5 points.

The AACC golf team has one event remaining on the 2021 schedule, the two-day CCAC Invitational May 17-18.
