MCHENRY, MD.  – The Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team was defeated by host Garrett College, 108-56, Wednesday evening in NJCAA Region 20 action. The Riverhawks were paced by 11 points from Jeremiah Stroman.

Stroman added five rebounds, a team-high three assists, and a steal to his line. Truth Norton added 10 points, five rebounds, a pair of assists, and a steal.

Messiah Anderson was again key on defense, with five rebounds, a pair of steals and two blocks to go with six points.

Garrett built up a 21-point lead headed into halftime and extended its lead throughout the second half.

Anne Arundel plays its first NJCAA Region 20 divisional game Saturday at Butler. Tip is set for 3 p.m.
