Harford Rallies Past Men's Basketball

BEL AIR, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team surrendered a seven-point lead in the second half as Harford Community College defeated the Riverhawks, 93-82, in a Region 20 game at FPGCU Arena Wednesday evening.

Freshman Che Colbert recorded a career-high 28 points in his first start since missing five games due to injury, and sophomore Jamar Young added 27 to go with a team-high eight rebounds.

AACC trailed by one at halftime, 37-36, and built up a seven point lead by the 13-minute mark of the second half before the fighting Owls used a 12-1 run late in the second to regain the lead.

The Riverhawks shot 48.5%  from the floor and outrebounded Harford, 37-35, in the game.

AACC is back in action this weekend with road games in Western Pennsylvania. The Riverhawks face CCAC Saturday, December 11, at 3 pm, before taking on Pennsylvania Highlands Sunday at noon.
