The 4-4 Pioneers have much to be thankful for heading into their Thanksgiving break, including some needed rest for players recovering from injuries.

AACC is 3-0 against NJCAA Division III Region 20 schools, as they finish out the month of November with a 79-71 victory at home over the visiting Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Bears.  Ryan Hawkins sat out with an ankle injury.

Several players are leading in national statistics.  David Jones ranks third in the nation in points per game averaging 27.7 in six games.  Calab Smith has averaged 19.2 points (34th) and Ryan Hawkins adds 17 points per game.  Hawkins is ranked 19th with a 62.7% field goal percentage.

The team is ranked sixth in three-point goals making 79 in 201 attempts, and is 11th in field goal percentage at 49.4 %.
