GEORGETOWN, DE – Riverhawk baseball hit the road Sunday afternoon to take on the NJCAA DII Region 19 Roadrunners of Delaware Technical Community College for a double-header match up.

Jacob Turpin went 2-2 at bat, with 2 runs and 2 RBIs. Mark Scarlas and Samuel Ryan each added 2 RBIs in game 1, with Scarlas, Andrew Dinko, Matthew Semanick, Nathaniel Anthony, Devlin Griffin, and Brian Remaley all scoring for the Riverhawks to earn the 8-1 final of game 1.

Game 2 proved more successful for the Roadrunners, who were able to score 5 runs early in the second inning, but the Riverhawks were able to keep ahead enough and claim game two, 9-8.

With the two wins on Sunday after splitting a double-header on Saturday to the College of Southern Maryland, the Riverhawks are now 11-13 for the season and 5-4 in the conference. Their next match-up will be a single game, away, against Cecil College. The conference/division game is scheduled for Tuesday (April 4th) at 3:00 p.m.
