ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College women's cross country runner Madison Palmer has been named the NJCAA Region 20 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Month for September 2021, it was announced today.

Palmer took top individual honors at AACC's first two meets of the season, leading the team to a second-place finish at the Blazer Twilight Meet and first place at the Green Terror Challenge. She was a top-25 finisher and ran a PR at the Towson Alumni Invitational against NCAA Division I teams. She was named the NJCAA DIII Runner of the week on September 28, 2021, and led AACC to the sixth spot in the USTFCAA NJCAA DIII rankings by the end of the month.

The Riverhawks are back in action at the NJCAA Region 20 Championships on Saturday, October 30.
