Sixth-ranked Women's Cross Country Competes at Gettysburg

GETTYSBURG, PA – In their final tune-up before the Region 20 Championships, the sixth-ranked Anne Arundel Community College women's cross country team finished 12th at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College Saturday morning.

AACC was the only two-year school to run in the 6k race. Madison Palmer finished 38th overall with a time of 25:47.8. Jasmine Jones placed 53rd with a time of 26:33.3. Holly Bogs placed 66th with a time of 27:48.2, Sierra Keen finished 76th with a time of 30:15.7, and Hannah Titus rounded out the scoring with an 83rd-place finish and a time of 33:57.9. Rebecca White (84th, 35:15.8) and Merna Shaalan (86th, 37:27.4) were other finishers for the Riverhawks.

AACC travels to Westmoreland County Community College on Saturday, October 30, for the NJCAA Region 20 Championships. The team will then travel to the NJCAA Division III Championships at Georgia Military College on November 13.
